Working with Parents

To keep parents and carers well-informed, we provide monthly newsletters and regularly update our website with important information about Little Monsters Day Nursery. Additionally, our dedicated team maintains an individual online “Learning Journal” for each child, documenting their progress.

This journal is easily accessible to parents, who can browse through examples of their child’s learning and view photographs capturing key moments in their development. For more details about accessing the Learning Journal, please visit the ‘Blossom’’ section on our website.

We also organize regular parent meetings, allowing parents to discuss their child’s achievements and delve deeper into their learning journey with their child’s Key Person.

At Little Monsters Day Nursery, we place great importance on building strong relationships with parents and fostering a collaborative partnership. We believe in the power of face-to-face interaction.

Throughout the year, we organize engaging “Stay & Play” sessions where families are warmly invited to join us at the nursery. During these sessions, parents can actively participate in learning activities alongside their children, gaining a first-hand experience of the enriching environment we provide.

We cherish these moments of togetherness, as they strengthen the bond between home and nursery, and create a supportive network for families. We value the face-to-face contact, as it allows us to work hand in hand, ensuring the best outcomes for every child in our care.

What our parents say

Nicola is such a lovely person and I so appreciate her kindness and care in looking after XXXX, organising fun activities and always being great at pickup with sharing information about her day and how she’s been
Joanna
Staff are very friendly and give us as parents full assurance that they care for our child as we do – this is the most important thing to us as parents!
Kimberley

We find the environment to be safe, well organised and friendly where each child can develop at their own pace. What really stands out to us is the nursery – parents’ communication
